Chris Brown is making a comeback, or so we hope.

After flying below the radar for a while, in order to complete his court-ordered 90 days in rehab, the 24-year-old singer might finally be ready to get back to the music.

Just yesterday, Breezy announced that he finally has a release date for his upcoming X album! He took to his Twitter to tell fans that the new date for the project – which has been pushed back multiple times – is May 5th, which also happens to be the superstar’s birthday.

Chris tweeted:

“X” is by far my best album yet…. Setting the date for MAY 5

Meanwhile, fans can also reconnect with Breezy via Instagram – by the looks of it, he’s rejoined the photo-sharing website as @ChrisBrownOfficial.

Most recently, Chris shared two pictures of the “2nd Call Awards,” where he was given the “2nd Chance At Loving Life Award” for his charity work in different communities.

Though we’d hoped to see Chris out and about soon, E! News reports that Chris is supposed to continue with his rehab treatment for a little while longer, since a judge thinks it’s going well for him.

That’s not a bad idea at all. Keep it positive Chris – we’re rooting for you.
