Earlier we caught wind of the unfortunate night that Kim Kardashian experienced while at the Vienna Annual Opera Ball, and the man behind the tasteless Kanye black face costume has come forward, of course claiming that he is in no way a racist.
The weirdo who came up to Kim Kardashian in black face at the Vienna Opera Ball — pretending to be Kanye West — now claims the entire encounter was a misunderstanding … insisting he’s NOT a racist … and didn’t mean to offend her.
Chris Stephan — a stand-up comedian in Austria — just posted the apology on his Facebook, saying he’s “incredibly sorry” things unfolded the way they did. He says he’s of Arab descent himself, and never intended to be racist.
TMZ claims Stephan posted an apology on his Facebook saying he is ‘incredibly sorry’ about the incident. He is also reported to have said that he is of ‘Arab descent himself’ and ‘never intended to be racist’ according to TMZ.

When Kim Kardashian was offered $500,000 to be the guest of Richard Lugner, an Austrian businessman who has a long history of paying starlets half-a-mil to be his arm candy at the Vienna Annual Opera Ball, she probably thought it would be a breezy check acquisition. In the past, some of Kim’s former peers Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton have been paid to attend without a hitch, but Kim wasn’t as lucky.
All dolled up in her Ralph Rucci Spring 2014 Black and Pink Sheer Inset dress with her mom Kris by her side, Kim took the red carpet on Lugner’s arm, but things quickly went sour.
According to reports from TMZ, Kim stormed out of the event after a series of unfortunate events. First, a white men came up to her in black face, pretending to be Kanye West while she was taking pics with Lugner. She walked away from the guy, but had to stay another hour and a half as per her contract we would assume.
But oh, it gets worse. TMZ reports:
A short time later a guy came up to Kim and asked her to dance. She said she wasn’t a good dancer, and then the guy responded, he would dance with her if the orchestra played “N****rs in Vienna.”
Kim is saying there were other problems. She told her people Lugner was aggressive, at times grabbing her and imploring her to lose her security. She said Lugner was trying to be alone with her.
And, we’re told a lot of this was caught on tape because Kim was shooting for her reality show.
Seriously, we’re hoping that Kim is issued an apology, and fast. We’re sure if Kanye wasn’t in Paris, he would have been on the scene serving up knuckle sammiches for everyone in attendance.

Earlier in the day, Kim attended a press conference with Lugner where she seemed visually agitated after he was quoted trash talking Kim in an interview saying she was “annoying” him and not sticking to the program.
