Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that Donald Sterling has been banned from participating in any NBA activities and/or business for life, was fined $2.5 million, and asked to sell the L.A. Clippers after his racist views surfaced via audio that leaked last weekend.
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has promised to do everything in his power to force Sterling to sell the team, but “Who’s buying?” is one interesting question that’s come out of all of this.
Well, Dr. Dre is interested!
He informed our good friends over at TMZ that he is, in fact, thinking about it and the site reports that he seemed very serious.
According to TMZ:
Dr. Dre tells TMZ Sports … he’s ‘absolutely’ interested in buying the L.A. Clippers when the NBA forces Donald Sterling to sell the team … and he seems very serious about it. ‘I’m thinking about it … yes,’ Dre told us on his way in to Boa Steakhouse in L.A. last night.
