V. Stiviano is now at the center of an alleged extortion operation against Donald Sterling.

According to the Huffington Post, the 31-year-old has over a hundred hours of audio featuring herself and the disgraced Los Angeles Clippers owner and is willing to keep them away from the public for the right price.

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office is investigating accusations that Stiviano sought money from Sterling to stop her from releasing more recordings, sources told KABC in Los Angeles. Someone linked to Sterling went to the DA’s office to make the blackmail accusation, the source said.

Stiviano, who is also known as Vanessa Perez, has a long rap sheet of petty crimes under her belt, under other aliases like Maria Valdez, Maria Vanessa Perez, and Mariamonica Perez Gallegos.

Prior to her bizarre interview with Barbara Walters, Sterling reached out to Stiviano to ask how they could make the scandal go away. Since Sterling’s racist remarks hit the web, the Clippers owner has been banned for life from all NBA activity and fined $2.5 million for his remarks.

Stiviano stands by her story of someone else leaking the tapes, but did tell Walters that Sterling is a sweet man and is far from a racist.

‘I think Mr Sterling’s from a different generation than I am. I think he was brought up to believe these things,’ she said, before accidentally tipping Walters off that despite being a Jew, Sterling has anti-Semitic views also.

‘But through his actions, he’s shown that he’s not a racist. Through his actions, he’s shown himself to be a very generous and kind man,’ she said.

Police are still looking into the extortion case to find out more information on both parties.
