Brittny Gastineau turned heads yesterday after stepping out sporting a serious black eye.
Kim Kardashian’s long-time bestie was seen at Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood grabbing a bite with her mom, Lisa Gastineau. The mother-daughter duo evaded any and all questions about Brittny’s eye.
According to E! News, the beauty blogger has since filed a police report related to her injury. That report is currently being processed by law enforcement officials. E! says police have found the person responsible for Brittny’s injury and are looking into the situation. Well-known street artist Marquis Lewis, better known by his alias Retna, is said to be the man responsible for blackening Brittny’s eye.
According to his attorney, Michael Goldstein, Retna was recovering from major reconstructive surgery in London when he got a visit from rumored girlfriend Brittny about two weeks ago.
“Lewis was bedridden recovering from his knee surgery and he defended himself,” Goldstein said.
Goldstein said his client “sustained injuries to face, ear and hand but decided not to report it or make a big deal about it. He is still recovering. He respects her privacy…This is unfortunate.”
He also claims his client “did not viciously attack Brittny” and “he was in no position to be aggressive or to cause anyone any harm.”
We hope Brittny gets the help she needs; violence is never OK.
