The Twittersphere blew up Tuesday morning when news broke that King James will be exercising his option to become a free agent. But that doesn’t necessarily mean the “Big Three” will soon become two.

Miami Heat star forward LeBron James decided to utilize his early termination option, but something tells us he won’t be leaving South Beach anytime soon. James could be opting out of his contract to create more flexibility for Miami’s roster, and re-tooling has been a key item on Miami’s agenda since last year. Getting LeBron, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh to take a small pay cut would help the Heat improve its chances to get some new power player talent on their roster.

However, with the four-time MVP on the market, several teams are hoping they can sweep him off his feet with a sweet deal. The Houston Rockets, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, and Los Angeles Clippers have been reported as possible suitors. There have also been rumors of James returning to the Cleveland Cavaliers after wife, Savannah James, posted this photo to Instagram Sunday night with the caption: “Home sweet home!! The countdown is real! #330”

But let’s be honest, there’s no chance in hell LeBron will be going back to Cleveland if he’s looking for another ring, especially with it so close in reach with the team he already has. People tend to forget that LeBron has won two straight NBA titles, and appeared in the last four NBA championship games with the Miami Heat (not too shabby).

So for all the Heat haters who are hoping King James takes his talents out of South Beach, you can leave those on the back burner – our guess is he isn’t going anywhere. And if you still think the King won’t stay in Miami, here are 10 reasons why he will:

1. James’ BFF D.Wade

2.  The “I can go to the beach all year round” weather.

3. The outrageously devoted Miami Heat fans…no matter how fickle they may seem sometimes.

4.  Two words: CHRIS. BOSH.

5. Because LeBron has the livest teammates on the planet in Miami. What other NBA team makes their own music video?!

6. Because people like THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES come to see you play in Miami.

7.  Because when you have fans like Rihanna, leaving Miami isn’t an option.

8.  Because ain’t no party like a South Beach party.

9. Did we mention that LeBron will still be amongst the highest paid players in the NBA…and certainly making more than the rest of us.

10. Last but not least, to win another ring! Because we all know the Heat will be in the finals for the fifth straight time.
