The latest Jordan brand ad pays respect to one of the most beloved and legendary members of the MLB – New York Yankees member Derek Jeter. After playing with the Yankees for 19 years, Derek is gaining well deserved tribute from people all over the world.
The new Jordan “Re2pect” ad shows that a Derek Jeter fan can go from the little boy with baseball cards to Jay Z. Prepping for the end of Derek’s baseball career with the Yankees, the ad also depicts the baseball player receiving respect from the widest variety of fans.
There are cameos from Carmelo Anthony, Spike Lee, Michael Jordan, New York Mets players, and even Red Sox fans – which is almost unbelievable.
