Since being a standout on the eighth season of Project Runway and moving on to dress none other than Beyoncé and other celebrities like her, Michael Costello’s name has been on the mouths of fashion folk far and wide.

If you can recall, it was Michael who put Yoncé in that sheer floral gown at the Grammys (as if you could truly forget the way it hugged her grown woman curves), and for his show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, the Spring 2015 collection was fit yet again for any other queen, be it of the Beyhive or the red carpet.

With their slicked back hair and subdued makeup that only highlighted bold brows, the models exuded pure elegance in designs that stayed true to the sexy silhouettes we’ve seen (and obsessed over) in the past.

Trends spotted: A little lace and a lot of sheerness. And did we mention those silhouettes already? Costello clearly knows his way around a woman’s body.

My rating: Though “stunning” has to be the most overused word in fashion, it truly is the best way to describe this collection. Expect to see it all over the award shows this season.

My favorite look: The long-sleeved, floor-length gown with a deep plunge, high slit and metallic appliqué. Sheer perfection.
