Miley Cyrus and her new beau Patrick Schwarzenegger just took their romance to the next level. The two love birds, who were spotted showing some serious PDA at a USC football game earlier this month, have finally gotten the green light from Patrick’s mother Maria Shriver.
While rumors have been circulating that the former first lady of California did not approve of the outspoken singer, it seems as though all that has been put behind them. A source for Radar Online states:
“Patrick has done a marvelous job in turning Maria from being violently opposed to now saying she’s a sweet girl and she was really mistaken from not knowing her and only knowing about her from her press,” the source says.
It turns out that Maria was just being protective after her relative Connor Kennedy’s former romance with pop star Taylor Swift left a bad impression. Radar Online reports:
Swift became obsessed with the Kennedys, even buying a home near the famous Kennedy compound in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts.
All that is left in the past apparently, and the always carefree Miley is free to be with her adorable boyfriend.
