Russell Simmons has been known to shake up the game when things seem a little stale; and his Argyleculture brand is no different. The mogul managed to turn a traditional and formal menswear line into something cool, hip, and exciting.

Argyle’s Fall 2015 collection was showcased during NYFW and not only was it the hottest ticket in town, but the clothes were more vibrant than ever and the models didn’t miss a beat.

The Phat Farm creator is making it clear that he’s been in this fashion game for over two decades, and he doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

The Cube at South Street Seaport was packed with VIP guests and fashion experts alike, who eagerly waited for the big show to start. VIP attendees included J. Alexander, Nicole Murphy, Rashad Jennings, Michael Chung, Sharon Carpenter, Mashonda, and many more.

DJ D-Nice set the groovy mood by mixing classic hip-hop tunes, while Jameson had everyone feeling alive as the cocktails continued to flow. The combination of the music, drinks, and the striking designs kept the energy in the room on high.

Russell has taken urban chic to a new level.
