The closer President Obama gets to ending his eight-year presidency, the more honest and confident he appears in interviews. After all, what’s he got to lose?

In an interview with 60 Minutes, the POTUS was asked if he thought he could win a third term if he was allowed to run again, to which he simply replied: “Yes.”

While many Americans would welcome the thought of another four years under his leadership, they’re faced with the reality of their current options, which includes Donald Trump. Obama briefly spoke on Trump’s chances of becoming leader of the free world, saying, “He is tapped into something that exists in the Republican Party that’s real,” Obama said. “I think there is genuine anti-immigrant sentiment in the large portion of at least Republican primary voters. I don’t think it’s uniform.” He went on to put a button on the issue: “I don’t think he’ll end up being president of the United States.”

President Obama also spoke on Hillary Clinton’s email melee of having classified materials on her private computer. Obama admitted that she was wrong in that situation, stating, “She made a mistake. She has acknowledged it,” Obama said. “And I think she’d be the first to acknowledge that maybe she could have handled the original decision better and the disclosures more quickly.”

Another presidential hopeful that he spoke on was Vice President Joe Biden, discussing, “if you’re sitting right next to the president in every meeting and, you know wrestling with these issues, I’m sure that for him he’s saying to himself, I could do a really good job.”
