What’s more dope than a sick accessory?
A great cause. Fortunately, Pin Drop NYC‘s collaboration with artist Yelda Ali offers both. In support of Black Lives Matter and the refugee crisis in Afghanistan, Pin Drop NYC has dropped their “People Of Peace” pin set.
One of the pins honors Martin Luther King, Jr., while the other highlights Sharbat Gula – the Afghan girl whose picture has become iconic and synonymous with the refugee and migrant crisis. Individually, each pin costs $12. However, you can purchase the entire set for $20.
All proceeds from the collaboration will go towards charity – with the earnings from the MLK Jr. pin being donated to The Dream Defenders, and the earnings from Sharbat’s pin being donated to Women Working For Afghan Women.
