If there was any doubt in your mind that Beyoncé is a boss, guess again.

Despite her superstar status, Bey continues to lend her time, money and talent to causes that most people forget about. According to reports, the singer helped raise more than $82,000 for Flint residents who continue to deal with the city’s lead-tainted water supply.

The Detroit News reported that her entertainment and management company, Parkwood Entertainment, presented the United Way of Genesee County with a check for $82,234 on Monday and that the funds were raised by Beyoncé fans who opted to contribute to the Flint fund while purchasing tickets for her Formation Tour.

Mrs. Carter’s reps revealed that 14 Detroit-area high school students were also chosen to receive “college gifts” to help with their educational expenses and were given tickets to her concert Tuesday night at Ford Field.

This isn’t the first noble act that we’ve seen from the queen. Bey and Jay-Z reportedly helped bail out protestors from Baltimore and Ferguson riots and she featured the mother’s of Mike Brown, Tamir Rice and Trayvon Martin in Lemonade.

The Detroit stop on her Formation Tour  is one of three cities on Beyoncé’s tour to feature a “signature charity event” component.
