Spencer Pratt was spotted in Costa Rica on Monday (August 23rd). The former star of MTV’s ‘The Princes of Malibu’ and ‘The Hills,’ claims to be in search of his currently estranged wife, Heidi Montag. Carrying a large DSLR camera, he also claimed to be looking for a photo of Mel Gibson in order to help pay for his mounting legal woes.
On June 8, Montag filed for separation from Pratt, citing irreconcilable differences as the main reason for separation. While many believed the couple’s split to be a publicity stunt, Spencer later confirmed that the couple was on friendly terms, and that the break-up was real, ‘We love each other but I’m a famewhore and I’ll never grow out of it. [Heidi] knows that and doesn’t want that…’
