Lee Dewyze, 24-year-old former paint-store employee was crowned as this season’s winner of American Idol, beating out Crystal Bowersox, the favorite to win.
Incase you missed finale, the show was a two-hour dedication to host Simon Cowell who had announced earlier this season that he would be leaving, as well as a showcase of performances from former Idol winners and major names like Janet Jackson, Christina Aguilera, Chicago, Hall & Oats, Joe Cocker, Michael McDonald, Alice Cooper and the recently recovered, Brett Michaels.
