Johnny Nunez is the man. I often dreamed of ending up on WireImage so the first time Johnny Nunez took a picture of me I felt honored. It felt like I just got awarded the medal of honor. He has caught flicks of Russell Simmons, Jay-Z, Beyonce… You name them and Johnny has got a picture of them.
In a very intimate interview w/ Roc4Life Johnny Nunez reveals how he got his start. R4L writes: ‘His start in photography was a direction he prayed for in order to prevent living his life on the streets. with a camera and an idea for celebrity post cards, he soon worked his way to the trust of many big named celebrities in the game.
