When Kanye West hit the pages of W Magazine late last month, he dropped a little gem that insinuated he would be returning to the design realm:

I tried to come out of the gate going crazy. And it didn’t work. So now I have to somehow put out something that says, ‘I look sensible!’”

A little digging, and a bit of puzzle work, led us to conclude that “sensible” may be an upcoming “men’s capsule collection of jeans, T-shirts, and hoodies” that Kanye collaborated on with French Brand A.P.C. And as suggested by the author Christopher Badgley, the line will indeed be unveiled in July…July 14th to be exact.

We reported on the rumors that initially started back in February of 2011, when GQ sat down with A.P.C founder Jean Touitou for an interview that turned into a look at Kanye’s future fashion plans, and now we are getting a first look at what will be A.P.C x Kanye West. Before we get too excited, note that A.P.C. confirms that the Kanye collection will include a jean, a hoodie and a T-shirt for a total of 3 Yeezus peices.

Rapper Travis Scott took to his Instagram to send congrats to the Yeezus rapper, captioning the above photo:

WHEN I FIRST LANDED IN PARIS. YE BROUGHT ME TO APC HEADQUARTERS TO MEET JEAN SEEING THIS COLLAB COME OUT AFTER MANY DESIGNERS TELLIN YE HE COULDNT DO SHIT IS SO FRESH”

In all caps so we know it’s real.

And Kanye came to the social platform to give his humble thanks:

Am I the only one that finds it strange ‘Ye hasn’t thanked Kim Kardashian for letting him create with her yet?

Either way, according to the brand’s website, the collaboration drops on July 14th at 10:00 a.m.

Will you be copping?
