Three robbers almost got away with the “perfect” crime after they enlisted the help of a special effects company to make realistic looking masks to turn themselves from black men to white men. The $3000 masks allowed the men to get away with $200,000, but their success wasn’t long lived. Authorities caught up with the con artists and were convicted in NYC. [io9]
