According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 8.2 earthquake struck off the coast of Chile Tuesday evening.

A tsunami warning was issued following the large quake which was centered 49 miles west-northwest of Iquique, Chile, and was 6.21 miles deep, the USGS said.

The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said a 6-foot tsunami that hit Pisagua, Chile, at 8:04 p.m. ET. No damage assessment has been made at this time.

Evacuation orders have been issued for the cities of Arica, Iquique and Antofagasta. No injuries has been reported at this time. You can watch a video from Instagram user @iamcamiila of the chaos that ensued after the earthquake.
