If you’ve been following Rihanna for the past few weeks, you might think she just secured the patent for showing her nipples every chance she gets. RiRi showed her nipples at the NBA playoff game in Brooklyn. She showed her nipples on the streets while heading into the club. She showed her nipples on Instagram and got her IG page sent to mobile web hell. And she showed them all sparkly last night at the CFDA Awards.
Nothing will deter Bad Girl RiRi from flashing her nips all over the place, and we really don’t get what the big deal is; everyone has ’em. In fact, Rihanna isn’t even the first person to let her headlights shine on a grand stage. It’s been done by everyone in hip-pop, from Charlize Theron to Zoe Kravitz.
There was that one time a braless Zoe Saldana walked down the street, and that time Pamela Anderson strutted down the runway in a sheer top. There was that summer Lady Gaga seemed to forget the meaning of a real shirt, and then there’s almost every time Nicki Minaj takes a selfie. Needless to say, the nipple should be honored.

Boobs aren’t sex organs, they’re made to feed baby humans. Just because the ones on men don’t work means that they can be paraded everywhere and women’s can’t? It’s sexism and it needs to be changed.
