Hide your kids, hide your wife! Ex-porn star David Mech – also known as “Dave Pounder” – is planning to run for the Palm Beach County, Fl. school board. The ex-adult film star says he sees nothing wrong with his decision to run for the board, and boasts sexual education as one of his major platforms.
“I absolutely believe that condoms and comprehensive sex education must be available in all of our high schools, and perhaps even as early as middle school,” Mech said, citing teen pregnancy as one of his main concerns.
Well, he’s on to something there. But parents in Palm Beach County and board members seem to think otherwise, disagreeing with his decision to run. Board members and Mech are no strangers when it comes to this matter.
The former adult film star is suing the very district he is running to be elected in, after claiming they violated his civil rights by not allowing him to promote his tutoring services around local schools. Mech continues to dismiss the critics who say his past makes him a poor candidate for the position. He said he’s well-educated, has a background in working with kids, and has never broken the law.
One thing is for sure, if he does get elected in some alternate universe, the parents of Palm Beach County better find a plan B…fast. No pun intended. Seriously. We aren’t that corny.
