Video recently surfaced of three North Carolina teens attacking an ice cream man in Northeast Charlotte.
The video shows the ice cream man standing next to his cart just moments before being approached and attacked by the teens. The first attacker, a teenage girl, approaches the man and attempts to touch his cart while another girl stands just behind her. The girl attempts to hit the man and he immediately defends himself. Seeing this, the second girl jumps in.
Moments later an unidentified male joins the attack. For a moment the fight breaks up and screaming can be heard. Then, the attack continues.
Throughout the assault the assailants can be heard laughing while repeatedly hitting the ice cream man. Eventually all three teens are seen running away from the man and his cart.
Daily Mail reports:
“On the affiliate station’s Facebook page, the video has already been shared 170 times and received 202 comments as of this writing.
‘This is sad,’ one commenter wrote. ‘Taking advantage of a poor man who makes a living by selling ice cream that can cost no more than $2 a piece… This isn’t about race, it’s about education. I hope these young ladies change their ways now, because if they continue to live this way their lives will be nothing but disaster.’
‘Such disrespect…..give them time in jail for that…I bet they won’t pick on or rob anyone else,’ another wrote.
Police told WSOCTV Daishaun Tyrone Burney was arrested and they are looking for two others.”
