Chris Brown is leaving no musical genre untouched for his upcoming X album.
After dropping more hip-hop influenced tracks, like “Loyal” and “New Flame,” Chris Brown is back with something more EDM-inspired. The song is the title track for his forthcoming album, and features super DJ Diplo as producer.
“X” starts off as a standard R&B track and then morphs into EDM by the time the chorus hits. With a darker tint compared to previous singles, the song touches on various mistakes Brown has made in the past.
