Beloved voice actress Christine Cavanaugh has died. The voice behind legendary characters like Chuckie from Rugrats, Dexter from Dexter’s Laboratory, and Babe passed away on December 22. Her obituary in the LA Times reads: “Christine has touched many lives, some we know and others we do not. Whether she was a baby sitter as an adolescent, a voice in a cartoon, an aunt, a sister, and friend, young or old it didn’t matter. She always made the most of where you were and what circumstance arose. ” She was 51 years old. [TV Line]
Britney Spears’ little sister Jamie Lynn went into “defense bestie” mode this week when she pulled out a knife to save a friend in Louisiana. While at a local Pita Pit with her friend, her pal was hit in the head with a bottle. Jamie reportedly leaped over the counter and took the long bread serving knife to wield at the alleged bottle-thrower. Police arrived on the scene, but no one was interested in pressing charges. A man from Portland is on the lookout for his girlfriend’s cat after he accidentally sold him on Craiglist. Roy Dufek helped sell Hayley Crews’ couch on the site, but didn’t know her cat Camo was hiding inside the box spring. Crews says it’s a place he likes to hide in frequently, so she taped it up, but took off the tape since she was selling it. After contacting the buyer, the cat was nowhere to be found. The couple is sure that Camo jumped out and might be wandering the streets. [KPTV]
