At the ripe old age of 20, Justin Bieber has apparently already earned himself a roast special on Comedy Central.
The singer, who recently broke the internet in his Calvin Klein ads, will be roasted in a March 7 taping–just in time for his 21st birthday. Though the comedy roasts (in which celebs come together to poke fun at their subject) are usually saved for Hollywood veterans such as the legendary Joan Rivers and James Franco, the newly blond Justin is ready for this. Us Weekly reports:
The “Baby” singer has been wanting to take part in his own special for ages. “Justin has been asking us for years to roast him,” Comedy Central told Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday. “So we kept telling him to create some more material, and we’re thrilled he listened.”
Shortly after the announcement, the Biebs also took to Twitter to address his feelings about the roast, writing:
For years I have wanted Comedy Central to roast me. They said only if I provided them w/ more material so for a year now I have worked hard
