Marshawn Lynch is not afraid of a little controversy. Over the weekend, the Oakland Raiders running back became a trending topic when he sat during the United States’ national anthem and appeared to stand for Mexico’s anthem.
It didn’t take long for Donald Trump to catch wind of Lynch’s protest and have a thing or two to say about it.
To be fair, Marshawn Lynch has been sitting during the national anthem for a long time. He hasn’t spoken out regarding this recent incident but social media had a lot to say on his behalf.
