According to the Washington Post, the application that the power couple put in to have Blue Ivy trademarked is still alive, but moving very slowly.

Perfumes and clothes have been denied by officials so far, since customers could believe that the product is approved by Bey and Jay-Z.

Last week, the judge granted the rights to the name to a Boston wedding planning company named “Blue Ivy” that they’ve had since 2009, but it does not conflict with Bey and Jay-Z’s case since they are two different fields.

Hopefully this can all be sorted out soon so that little Blue Ivy can have a trademarked name!
