Lea Michele: Cory Monteith's Guardian Angel (DETAILS)

Were Lea Michele and Cory Monteith engaged when he died?

According to People, the Glee costar couple was ready to tie the knot – before Cory’s untimely death last week. 

After dating for over a year, sources say they had been discussing marriage and were planning to walk down the aisle. 

Lea was extremely supportive during their relationship, especially when it came down to Cory’s substance abuse problems. Some people were even calling her his guardian angel. 

Lea laid down the law while they were together, and did everything she could to keep Cory from relapsing. TMZ reported that when he did relapse earlier this year, Lea was the one who took the lead and engineered the plan to get Cory in rehab.

Since his death, Lea swooped in and immediately took over planning his memorial and other matters connected with his death. We’re told Cory’s mom is not involved at all in the planning; it’s all Lea.
