Lena Dunham is the new queen of television comedy as she racked up a pair of Golden Globes last night.

The writer/director/actress took a break from watching the premiere of her show GIRLS on HBO to attend the Golden Globes, but luckily for her, it paid off!
Before getting the gold, Lena tweeted:
“I am excited for the Golden Globes/sad I won’t be in bed with dumplings reading your twitter responses to the @girlsHBO season premiere”
A little bit of promotion never hurt anyone.
After the awards were over, the 26-year-old got back on Twitter to dish on some of her highlights from the evening.

But who would have thought that seeing Adele would be the most heavenly moment of all?!
Lena tweeted:
There are no words for this night. In bed feeling so deeply lucky and wishing @campsucks and @JuddApatow were snuggled in beside me. The highlights of my evening (aside from the obvious) were Bill Clinton and Jodie Foster. Also seeing Adele turns out to be like seeing G-d. Also did Ms Poehler and Ms Fey not kill, in the classiest way of all?
Not only did Lena take home huge awards for Best Actress in TV Comedy and accepted the award for GIRLS’ Best TV Comedy award, but she also had a successful premiere of the show itself last night.
GIRLS kicked it off with a bang – literally. The show opened up with Lena’s character Hannah having sex with her new Black boyfriend. New year, new season, new things!
