Are you planning to go to the movies this weekend?

If you are, you have a tough decision to make: what exactly should you see?!

If you want action, you could check out the new James Bond flick Skyfall or the Ben Affleck-directed Argo. Maybe if you’re in the mood for a real quality drama, you could catch Lincoln or Flight. Or, if you want something more lighthearted, you could see WreckIt Ralph.

The best part of this news is that the movies seem to be getting better.

The last eight weeks of the movie season are completely stacked with awesomeness.

Here are the 10 most anticipated movies of the holiday season.

10. Silver Linings Playbook

David O. Russell has proved his worth as a director with the exceptional 2010 drama The Fighter. Silver Linings Playbook is his follow-up and all signs are saying that it’s a strong one.

9. Jack Reacher

Early reviews to this one haven’t been kind, but we’re not completely buying the bad buzz yet. Tom Cruise is a legitimate action star again and the Jack Reacher books are usually strong.

8. Killing Them Softly

Brad Pitt? Shooting sh*t up? Sign us up!

7. Les Miserables

Les Miserables has already been remade a number of times, but that doesn’t mean we can’t be excited about the 2012 version. It’s pretty star-studded with Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe and Anne Hathaway all having parts.

6. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 – November 16, 2012

This is it, folks: the last Twilight movie. This one should be epic.

5. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey – December 14, 2012

It’s been nearly a decade since we’ve seen a Lord of the Rings movie, so it’s going to be a joyful experience to see all of our little friends again in the prequel for the original movies.

4. This is Forty – December 21, 2012

Judd Apatow, Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann all come back together for a spin off of 2007’s Knocked Up. This is 40 should be one of the funniest movies of the year.

3. Zero Dark Thirty – December 19, 2012

Last time Kathryn Bigelow directed a movie, she was accepting a Best Picture Oscar for The Hurt Locker. Her new movie Zero Dark Thirty, which tells the story of the decade long hunt for Osama bin Laden shouldn’t disappoint.

2. The Life of Pi – November 21, 2012

Based on the best-selling book, Life of Pi tells the story of a 16-year-old boy who, after surviving a boat crash, has to share a lifeboat with a tiger.

1. Django Unchained – December 25, 2012

Anytime director Quentin Tarantino decides to release a movie, it’s reason to get excited. Django Unchained looks particularly promising: the movie tells the tale of an ex-slave (Jamie Foxx) and a bounty hunter (Christoph Waltz) hunting some wicked slave owners.
