As previously reported, the long awaited prequel to the hysterically funny Anchorman is officially in the works! Will Ferrell stopped by Conan last night and announced part two himself, while in full character as Ron Burgundy. While we can’t wait until Anchorman‘s second edition releases, it got us thinking about what other films we’d also like to see succeeded.

Here’s GlobalGrind’s top 10 movies that would make totally rad part twos!

VIDEO: Will Ferrell Brings Ron Burgundy Back!

Fight Club (1999) Edward Norton, Brad Pitt, Helena Bonham Carter and Meat Loaf:

Remember the insomniac office worker and the devilish soap-maker that form an underground fight club that transforms into a violent revolution? We do too! That’s why we know it would make a great comeback as a part two, in the guilty pleasure of raging against the machine.

Finding Nemo (2003) Albert Brooks, Ellen DeGeneres, Alexander Gould, Willem Dafoe and Brad Garrett:

We don’t think there’s ever been another animated movie that’s been as fun to watch as Finding Nemo was. We’re sure it was made with children in mind, but lo and behold, adults turned head over heels with this under-the-sea motion picture too! It’d be interesting to see what Nemo is up to… and maybe Dory transitioned with a less aggressive short-term memory disorder. Although that wouldn’t be as fun, would it?

Coming to America (1988) Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, James Earl Jones, John Amos, Shari Headley and Allison Dean:

On the surface, this epic movie is about an African prince that goes to Queens, New York City to find a wife whom he can respect for her intelligence and will. But anyone who’s seen this film, understands the paramount influence it had on Americans, coast to coast. In a quest to find true love, Prince Akeem (Eddie Murphy) leaves his castle behind to make it in the grittiest city in America: New York. Along the way, he encounters all sorts of obstacles that keep him from accomplishing his true goals. A great story that can be told over and over from several different point of views…

21 Jump Street (2012) Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Brie Larson, Dave Franco, DeRay Davis, Ice Cube, Ellie Kemper and Dax Flame:

The recent motion picture features a pair of underachieving cops that are sent back to a local high school to blend in and bring down a synthetic drug ring. Although this critically acclaimed film is a comedic parody of the 1987 original, starring Johnny Depp and Dustin Nguyen, we could use a second helping of this deliriously funny feature. Bring it on Columbia Pictures!

Boyz N the Hood (1991) Angela Bassett, Morris Chestnut, Ice Cube, Cuba Gooding Jr., Kareem J. Grimes, Nia Long, Regina King, Laurence Fishburne and John Cothran Jr.:

Here’s the infamous saga of a group of childhood friends growing up in L.A. Another urban film of astronomical measurement and impact; the movie gave voice to ghettos from coast to coast, but especially shed light in those embedded in South Central L.A. A part two is surely long over due!

Office Space (1999) Ron Livingston, Jennifer Aniston, David Herman, Ajay Naidu, Gary Cole and Stephen Root:

A comedic tale of company workers who hate their jobs and decide to rebel against their greedy boss, with

Peter Gibbons (Ron Livingston) as point guard. And since hating your boss never gets old, we’d love to see where the oddly grouped co-workers are spending their days now.

Baby Boy (2001) Tyrese Gibson, Taraji P. Henson, Omar Gooding, A.J. Johnson, Ving Rhames, Snoop Dogg, Angell Conwell and A.J. Johnson:

It’s just a plain classic! This is the story of Jody (Tyrese Gibson), an unemployed young black man, who’s been living with his mother for several years, even though he’s got a child of his own. The best part is, we get to see Jody grow up into the man he’s supposed to for his wife and kid. A prequel will undoubtedly have a lot to offer for the characters of Jody and Yvette (Taraji P. Henson).

The Goonies (1985) Sean Astin, Josh Brolin, Jeff Cohen, Corey Feldman, Kerri Green, Martha Plimpton, Jonathan Ke Quan, John Matuszak, Robert Davi, Joe Pantoliano and Anne Ramsey:

Probably one of the most beloved films by people of all walks of life. A true tale of childhood, aventure, friendship and bravery, The Goonies marks the embodiment of what, we’re sure, every child has thought about once or twice on a boring Saturday afternoon: a group of kids embark on a wild adventure after finding a pirate treasure map… Please, please follow up with a part dos!

Zombieland (2009) Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, Amber Heard and Bill Murray:

Here’s why we think this movie would generate a pretty awesome prequel: it does an awesome job of merging action, horror AND comedy! It’s all the rage, nowadays: blood, guts and the dead alive. So why not? It’s a no brainer if you ask us. Zombieland is bound to be only a precursor to an even bloodier and funnier motion picture!
