When we first heard that Jay-Z had a guest verse on The-Dream’s new album, we just assumed that the song would be called “Swap Meet.”
Opportunity blown. Oh well.
The song is called “High Art” and it sounds like that classic Dream we’ve grown accustomed to over the years. Over a light-hearted, bouncy beat, The-Dream sings:
“I make love to my girl and I get high with my ni**as.”
As for Jay, he comes through in the end and spits one of those verses where he talks about private jets, selling drugs and chilling with Tata. Typical Jay sh*t.
The-Dream’s IV Play drops on May 28th. Expect to hear a collabo with Beyonce on that jawn, too.
