In Oslo, two bombs rocked the capitol of Norway this afternoon killing at least 7 people and injuring dozens of others.  Soon after the bombs exploded, a man dressed in a policeman’s outfit began shooting indiscriminately at a youth camp on an island a few miles off the shore of Oslo. There are reports that over 80 young people were killed at the camp.

Not much is known about Anders just yet, but a Swedish paper is reporting that he may have ties to a white supremacist group.  Anders did have a twitter account, but only tweeted once, just a few days ago:

NPR Reports:

A police official said the 32-year-old ethnic Norwegian suspect arrested at the camp on Utoya island appears to have acted alone in both attacks, and that “it seems like that this is not linked to any international terrorist organizations at all.” The official spoke on condition of anonymity because that information had not been officially released by Norway’s police.

“It seems it’s not Islamic-terror related,” the official said. “This seems like a madman’s work.”
