After 10 years of being held captive by Ariel Castro and his two brothers, Amanda Berry has finally returned home.

On May 8, Berry and her 6-year-old daughter, Jocelyn, arrived to her sister’s house, a decade after she was abducted just blocks from where she lived.

Today, she was expected to make a statement about her return from the now dubbed “house of horrors” in Cleveland, but opted not to.

Her sister, Beth, told reporters spoke to reporters outside of their home.

“We are so happy to have Amanda and her daughter home….family would request privacy.”

A couple of hours later, a crowd gathered in front of 23-year-old Gina DeJesus’ home as she pulled in the driveway.

She flashed a thumbs up as she arrived at the house, which sent the crowd into an eruption of cheers.

Her aunt and father then came out to answer questions about Gina. Her father, Felix DeJesus, told reporters that he never gave up on finding his daughter. When asked what they thought about Gina’s captors, the family responded by saying that they will forgive, but never forget.

Welcome home!
