Assuming office in September of 1969, it has been 41 years of Libyan rule for Gaddafi and now it comes to an end after months of a bloody civil war has taken control of the Tripoli streets.

Simple, the will of the people was too loud to silence. The uprising against Gaddafi began in February of 2011 after a series of political protest against his government began to gain momentum and every day since then the country has rapidly descended into chaos.
