Happy Gilmore 2 is the long awaited sequel to the 1996 sports comedy film starring Adam Sandler (Uncut Gems, Hustle). The original film follows Happy Gilmore, failed hockey player with an incredibly powerful slapshot but poor skating ability. After finding out that his grandmother is at risk of losing her home due to unpaid taxe, Happy accidentally learns that he has a natural talent for golf. In a desperate attempt to raise the money needed to save his grandmother’s house, he enters gold tournaments. His unorthodox style, foul-mouthed demeanor and confrontations with more traditional players (especially with his rival Shooter McGavin) turn him into an unexpected sensation.

Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio (Bad Bunny), Conor Sherry (Snack Shack), Ethan Cutkosky (Shameless), Philip Fine Schneider, Kym Whitley (Deliver Us From Eva), and Adam Sandler’s daughters Sadie and Sunny. Happy Gilmore 2 also features cameo appearances by celebrity athletes Travis Kelce, Blake Clark, Justin Thomas, Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy, Bryson DeChambeau, Paige Spiranic.

Newacheck took over the director role that Dennis Dugan held for the previous film. The film was written by Tim Herlihy and Adam Sandler. The duo also served as producers alongside Jack Giarraputo and Robert Simonds with Judit Maull, Kevin Grady, Dennis Dugan, Barry Bernardi, David Bausch, Dan Bulla serving as executive producers.
