This year has been good to Anne Hathaway. First she slithered into the cat suit for The Dark Knight and nailed a role completely out of her comfort zone, then she did the big chops for Les Miserables and took a big leap when she said “I Do” to husband Adam Shulman. And then had a little vag slip that the world quickly forgave, and now she is finishing it out with yet another magazine cover.

Anne is the cover girl for the January issue of Cosmopolitan magazine, and she’s letting her pixie cut hang loose, talking love, marriage and of course, about her dramatic weight loss. Check out some excerpts from the interview below.

On her marriage to Adam Shulman:

“I feel like I’ve found my other half, and I’m so excited about getting to love him for the rest of our lives. I would never have gotten married if it weren’t for him. You have to want to be married to someone. You have to feel that reciprocated. Marriage for marriage’s sake doesn’t make any sense to me, and I found someone with whom I could put my money where my mouth is, I guess.”

On her hubby:

“I just feel that I have the greatest husband in the world for me. You know, we get a lot of pressure to define ourselves as women by how wild we are: How many guys did you sleep with? How drunk did you get? And we all bow to that. We’ve all done that walk of shame at one point or another.”

On her dramatic weight loss:

“I still feel the stress over ‘Am I thin enough? Am I too thin? Is my body the right shape?’ There’s an obsessive quality to it that I thought I would’ve grown out of by now. It’s an ongoing source of shame for me.”
