The release of the iPhone 5 is set to be announced tomorrow! And hopefully, we will find out all the intricate details we’ve been waiting for.

STORY: Apple Confirms iPhone 5 Release Date

Since the release of the iPhone 4S, people waiting to upgrade their phone have been chomping at the bit to get their hands on the iPhone 5.

So, before the keynote speech led by Apple CEO Tim Cook begins at 10am Pacific Time in San Francisco tomorrow, we’ve compiled a few of the rumors you should be paying close attention to.

We want answers!

The iPhone 5 Will Have Smaller Outputs

The iPhone 5 is rumored to be using a Micro-USB for dock connectors. Additionally the updated iPhone 5 will utilize a smaller port for charging or connecting the phone to other divides such as your computer.

The iPhone 5 will cost $800

The new iPhone should not cost you as much as the rumors have been saying. According to a “parts code matrix” that the publication posted, the device will come with the familiar $199 to $399 price tag that is the same as last year’s iPhone. So no need to worry, the new iPhone 5 won’t cost you the price of a old used car!

The iPhone will actually release on September 21st

MacRumors reported that FedEx is expecting a “surge volume” from September 21 to 24. Additionally we have also heard that Apple has enforced some blackout dates beginning on September 21st for employees who want to take time off so that there will be enough hands on deck to sell all of the new phones.

The new iPhone will come with a different set of headphones

We can’t confirm this just yet, however Vietnamese tech news site, tinhte.vn, offers images of earphones that it speculates could be the new standard for all upcoming Apple devices.

The new iPhone will be 4G

One of the things that we thought would happen with the release of the iPhone 4S was that it would also be 4G, however we were sadly mistaken. This time around, we’re hoping that the iPhone 5 will have 4G capabilities. The third-generation iPad debuted with 4G LTE five months after the 4S when it was offered in different carrier models, so naturally one would assume that the new iPhone may also be updated with the new technology.

The iPhone 5 will be smaller than the 4S

Every time a new iPhone is released, something about the shape changes. It is safe to assume that the new iPhone 5 will also be smaller than the last iPhone, however only time will actually tell.

The iPhone 5 will sell like crazy

Is this even really a rumor? Everyone has been waiting for this so much, that Blackberry sales have hit an all time low. We expect that sales of the iPhone 5 will hit an all time high. We just wonder how many of those people already have an iPhone 4S…

Look out for the answers to all of these questions when the press meeting for the iPhone 5 happens tomorrow.  The keynote is sure to answer most, if not all of these questions. Keep your fingers crossed for all of the good things to come true.

For now, we’re all in the hands of Tim Cook … please be gentle!
