Nene’s appearance in the fashion mag comes as a surprise, considering Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour’s sordid past with reality starlets. The style maven infamously banned reality princess Kim Kardashian from this year’s Met Gala.
While Kim didn’t make the cut, we’re happy to see Nene moving on up! The 44-year-old actress portrays a sassy assistant in the new series based on the life of Glee creator Ryan Murphy.
