Idk & Idc... like I said no-one should say it bc it was oriqinally used to discouraqe & hurt black folk.. & in a way it still is.. sad to say but hey, the truth hurts..

Ok, why would he even have the reason to say the N word, as a professional in an interview for a famous publication, dah. Fu$% it every African American artists should just start letting some racial words slip, apologize and lets see what happens.... Kanye caught hell for the tiny BS he did to Taylor so imagine how much bull shi# WHITE folks would come with if this were to happen, hilarious! That interview was so much more about the N word...it's deeper than that. John Mayer is on something or is in the midst of a nervous breakdown and it came out in that interview which will be his undoing mark my words. This guy is in need of serious help! reread the story. Talented? no doubt. Troubled you bet!

What is the big deal? The man apologized. What more can he do? What more do you want from the man? If someone can come up with something of substance that you feel this man should do to make it right, please post it. He is not the FIRST or the LAST person on this earth to use the word. There are scores and scores of BLACK people that use this word towards BLACK people ALL THE TIME. Is it wrong or is it WORSE because a WHITE man used this word? Why is this such a huge issue? Please, stop giving so much power to the word.

Sheesh. John Mayer and Kanye West should start a club for obsessive-compulsive apologizers. Even if one must apologize, one should take more care of their ego while in the process of apologizing.

He's "intellectualizing" on top of "intellectualizing". There is no escape from excessive thoughtfulness by thinking even more.
