J. Cole was what we were all waiting for tonight at the 2013 BET Awards!
Still celebrating the success of his sophomore album Born Sinner, Cole looked like a brand new man as he performed his hit singles “Crooked Smile” and “Power Trip” with Miguel.
It seems that his talent is finally being realized, as Cole’s being dubbed “real Hip Hop” amongst other musicians who most think are a little more watered down.
Though his mentors Nas and Jay-Z weren’t present tonight, we know they’re somewhere clapping for their mentee.
