A Danish man pulled the ultimate swindle by convincing a court he couldn’t help that he sexually assaulted two teens. Why?

Because of a disorder called sexsomnia. And apparently, it’s a real thing.

The Glostrup court said Wednesday that the unidentified man fondled two 17-year-old girls while sleeping in his suburban Copenhagen apartment after a party in 2011.

The girls awoke and interrupted the man, and later reported him to police.

But those charges were thrown out when medical tests showed that the 31-year-old suffered from the sleep disorder, which makes people engage in sexual activity when asleep.

The defendant said he had no recollection of what happened. How convenient.

So, the judge bought into his claim, as did the prosecutors. There are no plans to appeal the decision.

While the disorder may be a “real” thing, doesn’t it seem odd that he would just get away with sexual assault like that?
