Things got a little heated yesterday as the women on The View discussed the N-word.
It all started when Republican candidate Herman Cain criticized rival and Texas Governor Rick Perry as being insensitive for not acting sooner in removing “N*ggerhead” from a rock outside the Texas hunting camp his family once leased.

Both Whoopi Goldberg and Barbara Walters used the word freely while speaking about the recent controversy.
Meanwhile Sherri Shepherd, The View‘s other host, took it personally as Walters used the word and claimed that Barbara’s way of saying it had a “different connotation” than Goldberg’s.
“Whether it’s white people or black people we should all care about the same things,” Walters told Shepherd.
“You can’t take away the way it makes me feel,” Shepherd countered.
“I was reporting, I wasn’t calling anyone a name, Sherri,” said Walters.
