You can also submit an organization as well.

I’ve Got Entertainment (NYC, NY) – A woman-owned artist development company dedicated to being "The Change in Music." I’ve been working with these wonderful women for some time and not only do they prepare the talent, but they prepare you emotionally and mentally for the pressure of the industry as well as increase your business knowledge. Every show they have done has desginated a portion of proceeds to a charity such as Breast Cancer Awareness and Save The Music; it is a trend they will continue because it is their belief that we as people have a responsibility to help one another. I’ve Got is run by Renee Ochoa (CEO) and Emily O’Neill (President).
http://www.ivegotentertainment.com

Reflect & Strengthen (Boston, MA) – A grassroots collective of young working class women from the urban neighborhoods of Boston who take a holistic approach to organizing to create personal and social transformation. Their programming focuses are political education, healing form trauma, creative expression, community building and campaign work to end racial disparities in the juvenile justice system. I’ve had the honor of performing for these beautiful women and also witnessing the power of their expression. Even though they are in financial crisis, they have continued programming and making a difference in the lives of young women. I was introduced to R&S through Member/Lead Organizer Alexia Lomon Arroyo.
http://www.reflectandstrengthen.org

Visit their sites for more information on how you can network, participate, and support these passionate Queens as they are building up their companies and communities.
-D.
