Ranking The Hills’ Most Successful Stars
Sadly, tonight marks the end of an era. Six seasons of The Hills finally comes to an end and as we say goodbye to our favorite overly dramatic show, we want to take a look at what this show has turned some of it’s cast members into.
Out of what was originally a guilty-pleasure for high school girls everywhere, came a group of A-list stars who have managed to turn their celebrity into a business. Spin-off shows, clothing lines, NY Times best sellers and magazine covers are all a part of what The Hills has become. Each cast member is known for something a little different, but they all have unquestionably become successful due to their characters on the show.
This reality show which seemed more like a scripted drama series and not actually that real at times still managed to entertain us while making us both hate and love its castmembers for their arrogance and seemingly ridiculous lives.

As the character we love to hate, Spencer Pratt started out as simply Brody Jenner’s BFF and managed to turn himself into the villain of The Hills. As Heidi’s boyfriend and Lauren’s enemy Spencer’s fame quickly grew due to his outbursts and mostly absurd rants. His status was solidified when he appeared alongside his wife on the celebrity-survivor themed show, ‘I’m A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here!’ While on the show, Spencer was baptized by Stephen Baldwin and quickly became a staple punching bag for the E! comedy show, The Soup.

5. Heidi Montag
As one half of the most notorious couple to ever come out of reality TV, Heidi Montag spent some time as a pop artist, releasing her album Superficial back in January. She appeared alongside her then husband on ‘I’m A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here!’ and she appeared on an episode of the popular CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother. Most recently she was cast in a cameo role in Adam Sandler’s film Just Go With It.
