Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, today welcomed the President of the United States Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama to Buckingham Palace.

Obama, fresh off pounding Guinness at an Irish pub, made his second stop on his European tour and met with the newlywed couple in a 10-minute private meeting.
A large crowd met the Obamas moments earlier when they arrived at Buckingham Palace.
It’s safe to say Obama and the First Lady got the royal treatment: a 41-gun salute by the Royal Artillery, while the U.S. national anthem was played.
