The Occupy Wall Street Protestors of Des Moines, Iowa have lived up to their word!

STORY: WATCH OUT! Occupy Wall Street Protesters Got Big Plans For Iowa Caucus

The organizers of Occupy Des Moines pledged last week that they will camp out at the offices of politicians in Iowa to disrupt their actions and make their message of getting money out of politics clear.

According to the Associated Press, 24 protestors were arrested in Iowa.

The occupiers were ticketed for trespassing, and released after camping out at Republican presidental hopefuls Ron Paul and Mitt Romney’s campaign office, as well as Democratic Party headquarters.

STORY: It’s Time To Occupy The Dream

Occupy the Caucuses spokeswoman Danielle Ryun spoke on the incidents saying:

“Since campaign officials won’t listen protesters are willing to be arrested to get their message across… It would be great if we could show up, issue our concerns and have the candidates acknowledge us and change their platform… They’re all going to get equal play on this… We are very disillusioned with every candidate.”

The occupiers have made it clear they do not care if you are a Democrat or Republican. Their message applies to all politicians: get money out of politics!

Protestors plan on occupying the Republican Iowa Caucus on January 3rd to further publicize their message.

Our support is with the Occupiers, we hope that their message gets across effectively and peacefully.
