There’s nothing more dangerous than a woman with a child.

STORY: START SNITCHING! A Mother Gets Gunned Down And Somebody Speaks

Oklahoma native Sarah McKinley, 18, proved the saying to be true when she shot and killed Justin Martin, who broke into her home with a 12-inch hunting knife.

According KOCO News, Sarah, who was home alone with her three month old son, shot the home intruder with a 12-gauge shotgun after he kicked down her front door.

Sarah called 911 because the two men, Justin and his accomplice Dustin Stewart, came to her home aggressively knocking on her door. For the 21 minutes she was on the phone with police the men harassed her and refused to leave.

At one point, Sarah asked the dispatcher if she could shoot the men if they broke into her home. The dispatcher said simply: “I can’t tell you that you can do that but you do what you have to do to protect your baby.”

It appears that Sarah has done the right thing, according to Detective Dan Huff who said “You’re allowed to shoot an unauthorized person that is in your home… The law provides you the remedy, and sanctions the use of deadly force.”

And so far, the Attorney General does not plan on pressing charges.

Sarah reflected on the whole ordeal saying:

“I wouldn’t have done it, but it was my son. I was trying to protect him… You know it’s not an easy decision to make, but I knew it was either him or my son and it wasn’t going to be my son.”

Dustin Stewart fled the scene but later turned himself into authorities. Oklahoma is working on pressing charges against him.

We got to give it to this superhero mom! She definitely showed bravery and made the right decision.
