After a short hiatus it looks like The-Dream is back and ready to “Roc” again.

DETAILS: Whoa, Momma!: The-Dream Calls Beyonce Crazy

The R&B singer just dropped the first single off of his fourth studio album, The Love, IV: Diary of a Madman, and it sees The-Dream returning to his original comfort sound.

Racks On Racks! The-Dream Banked $15 Million Off Rihanna’s “Umbrella”

Where as last year’s 1977 mixtape was aggressive and confrontational, “Roc” is a light-hearted, catchy affair. It sort of us reminds of us the “Rockin’ That Thang” and “Shawty is a Ten” days.

Over his usual assortment of synth sounds, snap noises and a electric guitars,The-Dream sings:

Girl I can’t lie. I can’t deny. Girl I can’t look in this song.

Please don’t lie. Don’t be shocked when you taste your love in my tongue. Put your lips on my lips. When I dip, you dip. We dip. Take off on my rocket ship. I know you know what it is.

The-Dream fans are going to eat this one up.
