Philly rapper Meek Mill has been making quite a name for himself over the past year. He undoubtedly had the best rap song of the year with “Ima Boss” featuring Rick Ross, and his mixtape Dreamchasers received rave reviews.
During his interview with Angie, Meek spoke briefly about behind the scenes actions and happenings with Maybach Music:
“Everything good man, when everybody making money and staying in their own lane ain’t too much that can go wrong. It’s like point guard, center, and power forward.”

Meek also spoke briefly about his mentor Rick Ross:
“Ross got everything, Ross just bought a new crib his shit look like Oprah house, I just bought a crib, shit look like it’s older house. Ya’ll got some beats? Do ya’ll do that anymore. I’ve always wanted my Hot 97 day since the Roc-a-fella jawn back in the day. (laughs)”
Soon after his interview wrapped up, Meek hopped on the mic and spit a dope freestyle to Rick Ross’ “Stay Schemin'” beat.
